Portfolio

Image
My portfolio used a pixel grid. Using the rulers function in Adobe InDesign, I placed a ruler at ever 0.5 inches both vertically and horizontally.

Audio

Image
The audio for my animation consists of sounds and music from Garage Band. It was challenging to combine sounds to sound cohesive, but through multiple attempts, I I used many overlapping sounds. Using the loop, split, and layers tools, I made my own soundtrack to align with the visuals of the animation.

Aniamtion

Image
My animation, "Into the SIMulator" is based off of the Electronic Art's game "The Sims 4." This work was made with a combination of live action and rotoscoped pieces. To rotoscope, I used Adobe Photoshop. To combine the heavy portions of the films, I used Adobe Premier. My film involves myself being sucked into the sims and beginning to act like them. https://youtu.be/patG90QW3Zc

Autoscopy

Image
100% Resolution Image GIFS My autoscopy project is a piece that shows me seeing past the flaws that others have made me believe I have. It is about growth and acceptance of who I am and who I will become. Others actions do not define me. I see now that my kindness and energetic personality are ones to be cherished, not pushed aside. All of the images I have combined, I have taken myself. The sunset is a Chicago sunset. I see this sunset as myself. I am a sky full of colors. The flowers is an image I took at the Chicago Botanical Gardens. It represents the way I may not be seen initially, but after closer look, I am s small, beautiful bundle of flowers that continues to spread. For my piece, I used Photoshop's neural filters, brightness, contrast, saturation, and filter galleries.

Multiplicity

FINAL IMAGE INDIVIDUAL PHOTOS With the use of Photoshop's polygon lasso tool and masking layers to insert myself into the same scene 6 times. I like to call this piece "The Waiting Room.” This photoshoot was taken at the R. K. Bailey Art Studio at the University of Tampa.

Somewhere

FINAL PRODUCT REFERENCE IMAGES In photoshop, I was able to create this work by using the polygon lasso tool and masking layers to insert myself into the scene. With the addition of rearranging some objects with mask layers and adding filters, I added myself to the 2015 Cinderella live action movie.

Black and White to Color

Image
FINAL PRODUCTS REFERENCE PROGRESS IMAGES after this point I went back and edited the piece so the colors were not overlapping which ends up becoming the final product. Using the reference  photo, I converted it to black and white using Adobe Photoshop. I then found three color schemes on the Adobe color wheel and utilized Photoshop’s masking tools to create three fun compositions.
